A little helpful reading / Guide

What does semaglutide care really cost?

Separate the medicine, care membership, starting charges, and changing offers before comparing providers.

What’s in this guide?

A monthly price can mean several different things. It might be for the medication, access to a care team, or only an introductory period. Comparing those numbers as though they all cover the same service can leave a surprise in the next bill.

These public examples were checked September 23, 2026. Use them to ask for a complete quote, then put your own confirmed figures into the cost planner. They are not guaranteed prices or a recommendation to choose a medicine by cost alone.

One thing to keep with you

Ask for the amount due today, the ongoing cost, and the charges that are separate.

CoreAge’s offer is a compounded category

CoreAge’s semaglutide page advertises a starting price of $99 per month, with no membership fee and delivery. Confirm the prescription, quantity, included services, renewal terms, and any conditions in your actual offer.

The CoreAge review explains why this should not be compared as an FDA-approved generic equivalent to a branded product. The reason for compounding and the current requirements matter alongside the financial terms.

NovoCare pricing changes with the product

NovoCare’s current oral Wegovy self-pay terms list $149 monthly for the 1.5 mg strength, $199 for 4 mg, and $299 for 9 mg or 25 mg. These are price categories, not instructions for choosing or escalating a dose.

The injection offer lists two eligible introductory low-strength fills at $199 through December 31, 2026, followed by $349 for listed standard strengths; Wegovy HD is listed at $399. Eligibility and program terms apply. Read the NovoCare review before assuming a starting figure continues throughout care.

Ro separates membership from medicine

Ro’s pricing page lists a $39 first-month membership and $149 ongoing month-to-month membership, with lower monthly equivalents on prepaid plans, including $74 on an annual commitment. Medication costs are additional.

Our Ro review discusses that separation. A prepaid monthly equivalent is not necessarily the amount collected each month, and a medication discount does not erase the care fee. Ask for the total initial invoice and the renewal arrangement in writing.

Use the same three lines in every comparison

Write down the monthly medication cost, the monthly care charge, and one-time starting fees. Then ask what remains outside those lines: extra appointments, labs when needed, delivery, taxes, or a future strength change.

The cost planner adds the numbers you provide; it does not predict insurance coverage or a prepaid invoice. Use the featured shortlist to compare models, and bring affordability concerns to your clinician so the plan remains realistic over time.
